Health and vaccinations
Be extra cautious in Uganda with whatever you eat and drink (especially tap water and food that's raw or was prepared on the street), swimming water and your personal hygiene In Uganda an increased risk exists to catch bilharzia, cholera, diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, malaria, polio, tetanus and typhoid fever. If possible, vaccination is recommended. A vaccination for yellow fever is required in many countries when traveling to Uganda.
